Getting a better result
Match the effect colour to a colour already in the shot. Track it to your subject if it follows motion, and keep the opacity low so it enhances rather than hides the image.
Export ProRes 4444 for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro, and WebM with alpha for OBS and the web. Transparent WebM can show glow or shadow artifacts in CapCut, so preview it there first.
