Premiere Pro: Place on a track above your footage. For fire, sparks, and light effects, set the Blend Mode to Screen or Add in Effect Controls. For confetti and physical particles, keep at Normal.
DaVinci Resolve: Drop on a track above footage. Set Composite Mode in the Inspector to Screen for luminous effects (sparks, fire) or Normal for physical particles (confetti, snow).
