How to use this asset+

This 1080x1080 transparent video asset is 3 seconds long and exports in WebM (with alpha channel) and ProRes 4444 formats.

Premiere Pro: Place the WebM on V2 above your footage, then position it to the lower-right using the Effect Controls panel. Keyframe opacity to fade in at your target timestamp.

DaVinci Resolve: Drop the asset on a track above your footage in the Edit page. Use the Inspector to position it lower-right and set Composite Mode to Normal.

Final Cut Pro: Add the clip above your primary storyline in Final Cut Pro. Use the Inspector > Transform controls to reposition to the lower-right corner.

CapCut: Add the WebM as an overlay layer and drag it to the lower-right corner of your frame using the canvas transform handles.

OBS Studio: In OBS Studio, add a Media Source under Sources. Check Loop if you want it to repeat, then position it lower-right using the Transform > Edit Transform menu. OBS supports WebM with alpha natively, so use the WebM export here — it keeps the file size far smaller than ProRes 4444 while preserving full transparency.

Tips

  • Position in the lower-right corner — this is the YouTube convention viewers expect and where eyes naturally land near end-of-video timestamps.
  • Time the animation to appear 30–60 seconds into your video, after you've delivered enough value that viewers are engaged.
  • For YouTube Shorts, keep the subscribe button to 3–5 seconds visible to avoid blocking vertical video content.
  • Match the button color to your channel brand palette for a consistent visual identity across videos.
Frequently asked questions+

Should the subscribe button match my channel colors?

Yes — color-matching reinforces brand recognition. Use the workspace editor to adjust the palette before rendering.

What size should subscribe button animations be for Shorts?

Keep them compact, roughly 20–25% of frame width, and position near the top or bottom to avoid covering the content area.

What's the best timing for a subscribe CTA?

30–60 seconds in is optimal for standard videos. Early enough to be seen, late enough that viewers are already engaged.

Is this asset free to use?

Yes, all community assets on Video Effect Vibe are free to download and use in your video projects.
